NGABIOGRAFIAAt the age of 10, NGA's parents separated, and he moved to Portugal with his mother and sister, living with relatives. It was in Portugal that NGA discovered and fell in love with rap and hip-hop culture, watching music videos on TV from groups like Black Company.
Facing financial difficulties, he and his mother were forced to move to the Linha de Sintra, a suburb of Greater Lisbon. There, NGA met Masta (Terêncio), Don G. (Walter), and Prodígio (Osvaldo), and together they formed the rap group Força Suprema, with their childhood friend PMP (Odair) also becoming part of the family. Inspired by albums like Filhos da Rua by Black Company and Manda-Chuva by Boss AC, NGA and his friends prepared their first project, Explosão Lírica, in 1998, released in cassette format. Two years later, they released Invasão, featuring all members of SN (Street Niggaz). After years of struggling in near musical anonymity, Força Suprema finally gained exposure with the release of De Corpo & Alma in 2006, under Madrap Records, receiving surprising public acclaim. Following the group's success, NGA emerged as one of the most promising MCs in the PALOP music scene. In 2012, he released his first solo album, Filho das Ruas, which was a commercial success. He didn't stop there—by April 2014, he had dropped his second album, King, which also achieved strong sales. |
